The developers behind Ingleburn’s New Breeze housing estate have revealed plans for a $1.5 billion masterplanned community at Menangle Park.

Chinese-backed company Dahua Group Australia plans to develop a 4000-dwelling community.

They will build on a 364-hectare site at Menangle Road and Cummins Road.

Dahua’s chief executive of NSW and Queensland, Eric Li, said the housing development would feature a town centre, education spaces, health and community infrastructure, parklands and playgrounds.

“In line with our ongoing support from the Campbelltown and Macarthur community, our team have taken into account the vision of the locals and have aimed to redefine the area whilst preserving its history and culture,” he said.

“The focus has been on creating an active, engaged, walkable neighbourhood as well as a community that provides its residents with a range of considered opportunities including education, retail, hospitality, entertainment, commercial, employment, as well as community amenities.”

The Dahua Group said the Menangle Park community would be a ‘destination of well-being’ and would encourage residents to ‘live life at their own pace’.

“Menangle Park will be one of south-west Sydney’s most anticipated residential communities,” Mr Li said.

“It will act as a destination location promising exceptional amenity and community assets from day one.”

Dahua Group will be accepting registrations for the Menangle Park development from July 23.

The Menangle Park site was rezoned to provide for urban development in late 2017.

Development Applications have been lodged for the initial stages consisting of in excess of 4000 dwellings.
