Dahua unveils $1.5 billion plans for Parkland Town at Menangle

Menangle Park - Masterplan Hero

Dahua Group Australia yesterday unveiled its plans for a brand new, $1.5 billion master planned community in Menangle Park.

The plans will transform what used to be agricultural land into what Dahua says will be a “vibrant, contemporary Parkland Town on the banks of the Nepean River’’.

Located 10 minutes from Campbelltown city centre and around 65km from Sydney CBD, Menangle Park will feature a new local town centre, as well as education, health, sports and community infrastructure, expansive parklands, playgrounds and pathways.

It is anticipated the plans will produce 4,000 residential lots on the site.

“In line with our ongoing support for the Campbelltown-Macarthur community, our team have taken into account the vision of the locals and have aimed to redefine the area whilst preserving its history and culture,’’ says Eric Li, Dahua chief executive officer.

“The focus has been on creating an active, engaged, walkable neighbourhood as well as a community that provides its residents with a range of considered opportunities, including education, retail, hospitality, entertainment, commercial, employment, as well as community amenities,

“Menangle Park will be one of South West Sydney’s most anticipated residential communities,” Mr Li said.

“It will act as a destination location promising exceptional amenity and community assets from day one,” Mr Li said.

Dahua says it also aims to celebrate the history and beauty of the site’s natural surrounds, which were previously used for rural and agricultural purposes.

Its experiential vision will “harmoniously align with the Australian Botanical Gardens, Club Menangle and the Nepean River, leveraging the site’s heritage and natural environment’’.

This incorporates the inclusion of recreational walking and cycling tracks, picnic and barbecue facilities and outdoor fitness stations.

The Menangle Park development project comes off the back of Dahua’s New Breeze master planned community in Bardia, which became one of the fastest selling projects in the South West and has already achieved 750 land sales.

Menangle Park will be accepting registrations from July 23 at menanglepark.com.au
