Dahua Group Australia Commences Construction Of Its Master Plan Community Development Menangle Park

Dahua Group Australia (DGA) is one step closer to welcoming an exciting new development in South West Sydney’s growth corridor after officially commencing construction on its flagship master plan community project – Menangle Park on Thursday, 1st October 2020.

Chief Executive Officer, Dahua Group Australia NSW/QLD Eric Li, appointed civil contractor JK Williams (JKW) and Superintendent Benaiah were in attendance at the site to mark the beginning of construction of 255 lots as part of Stage 1 of the development, which is DGA’s biggest investment in Sydney.

“Today is a very significant day for us all. At Dahua Group Australia, we are committed to developing communities that will stand the test of time, creating memorable experiences and a vibrant sense of place for local residents, workers and the broader community”, Chief Executive Officer, Dahua Group Australia NSW/QLD Eric Li said.

Located on the banks of the Nepean River in Menangle Park, just ten minutes from Campbelltown CBD and under 65km to Sydney CBD, the estimated $1.5 billion, 4000 plus home Menangle Park development is one of South West Sydney’s most anticipated, with a future planned town centre and onsite childcare and primary school facilities forming part of the estate’s main hub.

The development will also feature 41 hectares of usable open space comprising local and district parks, walking trails, sports fields, bicycle tracks, and direct motorway access to the Hume Highway via the new Spring Farm Parkway, which will facilitate faster, easier travel from Menangle Park to the CBD and beyond.

DGA, Associate Director of Development, Robert Fischer said civil contractors JKW had been appointed to break ground, and to prepare the first stage of 255 lots. He expected construction of homes to begin within twelve months.

“This is a regionally significant project that will unlock housing opportunities, commercial and community development, in addition to employment opportunities, supporting growth in this region for both current and future residents” Mr Fischer furthered.

The first residents of Menangle Park are expected to start moving in within 18 months.
